While majoring in business operations in college, Mark Perrault pursued a commitment to Air Force ROTC that led him to serving four years in the Air Force upon graduation. As a brand-new second lieutenant, Mark trained in Alabama and eventually was stationed in Spokane, Washington, where he quickly became the class’s “financial guy.” So when he settled into civilian life in a new city, it was a logical step to explore the opportunity to become a financial services professional and utilize his leadership skills.
Mark Perrault talks about his career.
Every day I work closely with clients to help them achieve long-term financial security. At the end of the day it’s all about the clients. It’s so cool – we provide financial security, and who doesn’t want that? It’s very satisfying being able to help people think through their financial issues, overcome their hesitation in today’s challenging economy, and help them breathe a sigh of relief knowing that they are on the right path to financial security. That’s what makes my work worthwhile.

Nothing in this career is as hard as what a military veteran has already done. At the same time, I made contacts in my new home town. If you follow the proven systems and process that Northwestern Mutual offers, you can be successful.
