Lone Survivor Foundation received a $25,000 grant in honor of Northwestern Mutual financial representative John Folkert's exceptional volunteer commitment as part of the company's 18th annual Community Service Award program. The organization provides therapeutic outdoor opportunities for wounded service members and their families to aid in healing and empowering those affected by combat injury and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. The grant money will be used to sponsor 10 retreats for soldiers and their families.
