Northwestern Mutual Investment Services, LLC offers money market fund accounts to help manage your cash holdings.
The balance of your account can be directed into several money market fund options, including several state-specific municipal fund options, a government securities fund, an FDIC insured account, or a general money market fund.
Available cash balances including deposits, dividends, interest and proceeds from investment transactions are automatically invested in a money market fund investment each business day.
An investment in any money market fund is not insured or guaranteed by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or any government agency. Although a money market fund seeks to preserve the value of your investment at $1.00 per share, it is possible to lose money by investing in a money market fund. Yield fluctuates.
Income may be subject to state and local taxes depending on your state of residency. Income may also be treated as a preference item for purposes of the Federal Alternative Minimum Tax.
Money market funds are offered and sold by prospectus only. For more complete information, including investment objectives, risks, charges, expenses, and other information about the investment company, please contact your Northwestern Mutual Investment Services Registered Representative for a prospectus. Carefully read the prospectus and consider this information before investing.
