Professional

I aspire to create an environment where entrepreneurs can receive mentorship, hone their strengths, and become experts in the field. As the Chief Development Officer and Managing Director in Orange County, I lead recruitment initiatives, productivity systems, training curriculums, and mentorship programming.

I began my career with Northwestern Mutual in Downtown Los Angeles as a college intern in 2011, while pursuing my undergraduate education at the University of Southern California. In conjunction with building my planning practice, I graduated with dual degrees in International Relations and Business Administration. In 2014, I took on my first leadership role as Assistant District Director, helping facilitate training and development to drive growth and productivity for new financial advisors. Later in 2016, as a Recruiting Field Director, my team and I were proud to lead the company that fiscal year. In 2019, I moved to Orange County and now reside in Newport Beach with my wife Paris, and our daughter Chloe.

Building long-lasting relationships with clients across the country, watching them achieve success, and playing a role in that development, represent some of my most exciting and meaningful accomplishments. I'm grateful for the support of a vast network of specialists that provide unique perspectives, holistic analysis, and detailed modeling for our clients. This allows us to specialize in building and implementing customized, integrated, and strategic plans for all of life's stages.

Lending a hand in my community.

As part of Northwestern Mutual, I'm proud to help accelerate the search for better childhood cancer treatments while supporting families undergoing treatment, and survivors from late effects. Here are some of the organizations we partner with:

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)

ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.

As a member at large of the USC Board of Governors and the Dorsnife Alumni Advisory Board I joined other leaders in helping advance USC's mission and influence.

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.

When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.

Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.

It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
