Andrew M Rasmussen

Andrew Rasmussen is a  CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional with a strong foundation in finance, holding an undergraduate degree in the subject from the University of Georgia. His career in financial planning began during his undergraduate years when he worked at a high-net-worth planning firm in Atlanta. Here, he gained invaluable knowledge about helping clients achieve their financial and estate planning goals with a focus on tax efficiency.

After graduating in 2005, Andrew furthered his knowledge by working with an institutional investment advisory firm. His contributions led the firm to amass $1 billion in assets under management. He then left the firm to pursue a Masters degree from UGA.

In 2010, driven by his desire and passion to help individuals secure their financial futures, Andrew founded Rasmussen Wealth Management. His approach centers on individualized client care, building lasting relationships, and understanding each client’s unique needs.

Beyond the office, Andrew shares a fun and fulfilling personal life with his wife, Katie, to whom he has been happily married since 2012. They are the proud parents of two daughters, Birdie and Tipper. They are active members of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Athens and share a love for international travel, typically embarking on one or two adventurous trips each year. In his leisure time, Andrew enjoys college football, is an avid reader of history books, and enjoys the occasional round of golf.
