Libby Franchot
Director of Wealth Management
Libby is the Director of Wealth Management. Like Andy, she works with clients to deliver world class planning, bringing unmatched energy and a smile to every meeting. Libby helps further expand client outreach with hopes to one day become a partner at HG.
Libby and her husband, Shonal, live in Bloomington with their two cats. They met while working at a local karate studio. If not at work or training for karate, you’ll probably find her on a soccer field.
Neat Nugget: Libby is a National Karate 5th degree black belt and has earned the NCKA top competitor award.
Dream vacation: Either Japan or Argentina!
Jake Flemming
Director of Investments and Planning
Jake serves as the Director of Investments and Planning. He oversees our consultative wealth planning process to ensure the creation of a comprehensive financial plan. Jake also is available to all clients for their investment service needs.
Jake and his wife, Kiersten, live in Eagan. In his free time, he enjoys bowling and ice fishing in the winter. During the summertime you can find Jake playing amateur baseball for the 2021 MN State Class A runner up, Highland Park Beavers.
Neat Nugget: Jake has bowled a 300!
Dream vacation: Alaska for the fishing, mountains, and northern lights.
Kelly Osborn
Director of Client Services
Kelly is our Director of Client Services. She oversees and manages the day-to-day insurance operations. Whether it’s billing, updating beneficiary assignments, or layering in additional coverage, Kelly is your person! She will be with you from start to finish through the underwriting process.
Kelly has 3 kids and currently resides in Bloomington, where she grew up.
Fun Fact: In her free time, you’ll find Kelly somewhere on a Pickleball court!
Dream vacation: Bora Bora and stay in an overwater bungalow
Kim Zemple
Executive Assistant
Kim is the Executive Assistant and Office Manager at HG. She enjoys orchestrating day-to-day activities at the office, communicating with clients and supporting our team in various ways.
Kim’s busy family lives in Bloomington and revolves around 2 active teens. She loves teaching voice and piano lessons at their home.
Neat Nugget: Kim played six-on-six Iowa high school basketball as a forward. She held her team’s highest free-throw shooting percentage at 80%!
Dream vacation: fly to Milan, train to Monterosso al Mare then hike Cinque Terre’s Blue Trail.
Courtney Dowdle
Investment Operations Coordinator
Courtney is our Investment Operations Coordinator at HG. She works with clients and ensures a seamless investment onboarding process from opening new accounts to servicing existing ones. Courtney also is an integral part of having detailed preparation dialed in for every meeting.
Courtney lives in Cottage Grove with her husband, Carter, and dog, Madden. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and golfing.
Neat Nugget: Courtney has traveled to 47 states!

Andy Hunter, Founder
Andy Hunter, founder of HG, has an approachable style and relentless passion for helping people. Since 2005, he has worked hard to build trust and establish lasting relationships with our clients.
Growing up in Mendota Heights, Andy has always been passionate about sports, particularly baseball and golf. While working on his finance and risk management degrees from the Carlson School at the U of M, he became an All-American first baseman for the Gopher baseball team.
He has now shifted his passion for baseball to coaching his son’s baseball teams. Andy believes that just like a great sports team, we are stronger together! This outlook has helped him grow and develop HG with a team of dedicated, intelligent and caring people.
Outside of HG, Andy enjoys spending time with his family and golfing. He has been married to his high school sweetheart, Natalie since 2007. Together they have three children: JD, Mya and Trey. They currently reside in Mendota Heights and enjoy being active in their community.

Certified Financial Planner Board (2012-2026) is a non-profit organization acting in the public interest by fostering professional standards in personal financial planning through its setting and enforcement of the education, examination, experience, ethics and other requirements for CFP® certification.
