Professional

Ben began his career with Northwestern Mutual as a college intern in 2009 while attending Towson University. At Towson, Ben earned a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with a Minor in Business Administration and learned the value of commitment and teamwork while playing for their nationally ranked men's lacrosse team.

After graduation, Ben joined Northwestern Mutual full time as a Financial Advisor and obtained his state insurance licenses, the Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 investment licenses, and earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP®) designation to better serve the complex needs of his clients. In 2020 Ben took the next step in his career and founded Ganley Wealth Management. This step was the culmination of over a decade of education and growth within his team at Northwestern Mutual.

Ben enjoys working with clients of diverse backgrounds and occupations and specializes in planning for the unique needs of closely held business owners, executives of non-profit trade associations, and those in or approaching retirement. Ganley Wealth Management is a proponent of multi-generational financial planning and brings years of expertise to his clients in that space. By focusing on multi-generational planning, Ben and his team provide families the opportunity to connect deeply and ensure that all generations are considered and cared for through the financial planning process. In addition to knowledge and skill, Ben prides himself on his attention to detail and genuine care for his clients; qualities that help him and the entire Ganley Wealth Management team design financial solutions which are specifically tailored to the needs of each individual, family, or business.

Outside of work, Ben is a faithful husband and father, a self-proclaimed "fitness junkie," and loves to be outdoors fishing, golfing, and spending time on the beach with his family. Originally from Calvert County, Maryland, Ben currently resides in Edgewater with his wife and their two daughters.
