Personal

I am born, raised, and all things North Jersey. I am proud to call Demarest my hometown – a Bergen County suburb just 15 minutes from Manhattan. My family is everything to me, with my mom working as a speech pathologist in the local school system, and my father who worked on Wall Street and owned a Kosher Deli in Englewood before retiring. My younger sister, Jesse, went to UVA for Track & Field and now works in investment banking for Wells Fargo. Today, I live with my fiancé, Bari, who teaches in Bergen County, and we live in Hoboken.

I attended Union College in Schenectady, New York where I played 4 years of college football and served as the Vice President of our fraternity, Theta Delta Chi. I graduated with a BA in Managerial Economics, a minor in Psychology, and the greatest group of lifelong friends. In 2016, prior to graduation, I was introduced to Northwestern Mutual through the college internship program – the rest is history.

Since 2017, I have built a comprehensive wealth management business in partnership with NM. Through holistic planning and integrated wealth management strategies, our practice exists to create a lifetime of financial security, multi-generational wealth, and legacy for our clients, and in turn, for the advisors, staff and leaders on my team and in our firm. As an advisor, our team has been recognized internally by NM, and externally through organizations such as The Million Dollar Round Table. As a Field Director and leader in our firm, I help coach & develop our newest advisors to fulfill my passion for teaching and paying it forward.

It is not all about work – as a firm, and as a team – we are passionate about giving back and serving our community. Everyday, over 1,000 children worldwide are diagnosed with cancer, meanwhile, pediatric cancer research remains consistently underfunded. We actively support Alex’s Lemonade Stand – who has raised more than $250M so far and has funded over 1,000 research projects to families affected by childhood cancer. We are also involved with our local Sunrise Day Camp – the world’s only dedicated day camp for children with cancer and their siblings, all free of charge.

When I have free time, I can be found taking an early appreciation for the retirement sports – skiing, golf, and pickleball. As a I a die-hard Yankee fan and bleacher creature, I do not miss watching or listening to a game. I’m also a big Jets and Knicks fan (although they don’t always make it easy!). Most of all, I enjoy spending time with Bari – whether that is winters in Vermont, summers traveling, or walking around Hoboken enjoying some good food and drinks.
