Personal
Bryan grew up in Columbia, MO where he attended Hickman High School. Bryan is married to Kenley, another Columbia native, and they have 2 children, Ila Rose and Wilson. Bryan and Kenley have known each other since kindergarten and somehow, Bryan talked Kenley into marrying him 25 years later. Bryan was an integral part of the first Hickman soccer team to reach the State Final Four, where they finished 3rd. He then went on to play soccer at Westminster College and helped lead the team to its first NCAA® tournament appearance. Bryan graduated from Westminster College with a degree in Business-Finance in 2002. Upon graduation, in October 2003, Bryan joined Northwestern Mutual in Columbia, MO at the age of 24.
In November 2012, Bryan became Columbia’s new Managing Director. Under his leadership, he helped grow the office by recruiting 9 new financial representatives. He played a role in helping the Hempstead Agency achieve 50% in 5 and 100% in 10 and the Growth Award. In his first year, he has coached 2 reps to pacesetter.
Personally, Bryan enjoys playing golf, running, loves his church (the Crossing) and spending as much time as possible with his beautiful wife, Kenley and their wonderful children Ila Rose and Wilson.
Lending a hand in my community.
As part of Northwestern Mutual, I'm proud to help accelerate the search for better childhood cancer treatments while supporting families undergoing treatment, and survivors from late effects. Here are some of the organizations we partner with:
Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)
ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.

Beads of Courage
Beads of Courage is an art-in-medicine program that helps kids with cancer tell their unique treatment story through colorful beads that are symbols of their courage.

Rally for Rhyan
At the age of 5 Rhyan was diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroblastoma. On October 16, 2015, Rhyan officially started her fight against neuroblastoma as she began Round 1 of chemotherapy. Rhyan's care was transferred to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City shortly after diagnosis as they have a specialized pediatric department for Neuroblastoma. She was able to get clear soon after diagnosis, but suffered a brain relapse on Thanksgiving Day, 2016. She has been CANCER FREE since December 2016! The National Cancer Institute has a research budget of nearly 5 billion dollars. Unfortunately, only about 4% of this is dedicated to pediatric cancer research. Regular fundraising efforts are held each year with the proceeds going to pediatric cancer research.

Lizzy's Walk of Faith
Our Commitment to Children Fighting Cancer: Awareness We are committed to spreading awareness about Osteosarcoma and pediatric cancer. While Lizzy may not be with us, we know she would want us to help spread awareness about pediatric cancer as we aspire to share Lizzy’s story and cast her vision for a cure. The treatment plan that was given to Lizzy was developed over 30 years ago and hasn’t changed since its inception. The chemotherapy that is used is also designed for an adult body but is being used on children. Simply put, we need better treatment for children fighting Osteosarcoma!

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.
When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.
Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.
It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
