Personal
After graduating from UCLA with a degree in Economics, I was inspired to learn from the recession of 2008 and grow a financial planning practice that focused on both analytics and behavioral finance to help people build solid financial plans and enduring peace of mind.
Working hard to grow my knowledge base through formal education, I acquired my CFP®, CLU®, ChFC®, WMCP®, RICP®, and REBC® designations in addition to the Series 6, 7, 26, and 63 investment registrations.
Over the last five years, I have been able to participate in over 100 publications including Forbes, Women’s Health, Bloomberg Radio, Fox News, MarketWatch, Cheddar TV, USA Today, and many others. These opportunities have helped me work toward my primary goal of helping people build a healthy relationship with money. In 2018, I published my first book: Finding Your Financial Type: Clearing the Hurdles to Financial Wellness.
When not working, I can be found baking or taking a Peloton Class. I currently reside in San Diego with my husband Tom, daughters Sophia, Audrey, and Margot, and my Miniature Schnauzer, Jerry.

Lending a hand in my community.
Our team is deeply committed to giving back to the community and supporting others. We are incredibly grateful for the chance to collaborate with the following organizations.
Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)
ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.

The Mario Lemieux Foundation
The Mario Lemieux Foundation is dedicated to cancer research, patient care, and supporting families in challenging medical situations. Austin’s Playrooms was created to benefit families and improve the quality of a child’s hospital experience whether as a visitor or patient by establishing cheerful playrooms that are safe, calming and comfortable. Since its inception, the Mario Lemieux Foundation has raised over 31 million dollars for their programs and built 38 Austin’s Playrooms. Our team spearheaded the efforts to raise funds to remodel the Austin's Playroom at Camp Pendleton. We are passionate about providing support for children facing cancer and our military families and are thankful this opportunity allowed us to do both.

EUHSD Cal-SAFE/Teen Parent Program
This program is designed to increase the availability of support services for enrolled expectant/parenting students to improve academic achievement, parenting skills and to provide a quality child care/development program for their children. Cal-SAFE is a comprehensive and community-linked school-based program that focuses on youth development and dropout prevention for expectant and parenting students.

ElderHelp

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.
When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.
Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.
It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
