Wealth Management Advisor

Chris joined Northwestern Mutual in 1995 after leaving the world of corporate accounting, seeking independence from the conventional business model and the chance to make a difference. His career with Northwestern Mutual has afforded him the opportunity to actualize both of these goals, and it is his personal and professional relationships - with clients, associates, and the community - that keep him driven. Chris has a BS in Accounting from Miami University.
Chris is also the Managing Director of Northwestern Mutual Fairview Heights. Under his leadership, the district office has become a Top 10 District of Northwestern Mutual.
Chris was born and raised in Belleville. He currently resides in O’Fallon with his wife, Marci, and two boys, Quinn and Logan. He and his family love traveling and attending Mizzou Football and St. Louis Cardinals games. Chris has been passionate about thoroughbred horse racing since he was a kid. He enjoys attending the races with family every chance he gets.

Financial Representative

Roger Lowery has been with Northwestern Mutual for more than 50 years. He has held various management positions within the company, including the role of Managing Director with the Belleville, IL office for 30 years. He has grown his practice over the years predominantly in the business market. His knowledge and expertise in group benefits provides our clients with the most comprehensive planning strategies available in the marketplace today. Roger is married to Elaine, and they enjoy traveling and spending time with their children and grandchildren.

Upon graduating from the University of Missouri, Quinn joined The Lowery Financial Group in 2022. He enjoys golfing, working out, supporting the St. Louis Cardinals and Mizzou Athletics.

Judy has been a member of the team since 1992. She works closely with our clients in both the insurance and investment arms of business. She is responsible for coordination of all plans and serves as the central contact for all questions and services. She is key in making sure our firm runs smoothly and efficiently. Outside of work, Judy enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and friends.

Katey Wettig joined the team in January of 2022 as an Associate Wealth Management Advisor focusing on investments. She graduated with a Master of Accountancy and a Certificate of Data Analytics in Accounting from Missouri State University in December 2021 and received her Bachelor of Science in Business from Eastern Illinois University in 2020. Katey and her Husband, Cameron, live in Belleville with their dog, Jango. She loves to spend time with her friends and family.

Chartered Advisor for Senior Living® (CASL®)

Widely adopted across the broad spectrum of financial services, the CASL® five-course curriculum prepares the financial professional to lead clients from middle age through retirement and assist them with the management, preservation, and transfer of wealth. The CASL® designation is Northwestern Mutual’s only approved ‘senior’ designation.


Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a professional accountant who has passed the Uniform CPA Examination, met state-specific licensing requirements and fulfilled experience and ethical standards set by their State Board of Accountancy.

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF)

Our district office, Northwestern Mutual Fairview Heights, is proud to participate in Northwestern Mutual's "Race for Childhood Cancer Research" every year in Milwaukee, WI. Our team members come together to raise over $25,000 annually to benefit Alex's Lemonade Stand. ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer.

Christian Activity Center

The CAC is a non-profit, faith based ministry located in the heart of East St. Louis. The CAC provides comprehensive after-school programming to more than 4,000 children a year in the areas of education, recreation, and health. Their mission is to prepare youth in East St. Louis for successful futures, spiritually, academically, and physically. Northwestern Mutual Fairview Heights sponsors multiple events to benefit the CAC. Our largest event is their annual "Golf for a Brighter Future" golf tournament. In 2017, we raised over $51,000 to benefit the CAC. We also provide families with Christmas, school supplies, and other various donations throughout the year.
