About Me
I may not fit the mold of your typical advisor. And the path that led me here may be a bit unique. Nonetheless, I’m here to live my best life, and help guide others to do the same.
I grew up in Albany, was raised by my mom, and graduated from Albany Academy and Alfred University. When I should have been packing up my dorm room and heading home, I instead headed straight to Charlotte, North Carolina for a change of pace and found a job with a sales company. That came to an abrupt end when my mom became ill, and I raced home to help care for her.
Whether you call it fate or not, a friend with a connection with Northwestern Mutual reached out to offer an opportunity that would change my life.
Now as I approach a decade with this company, I know my goal is, and always has been, to make as big as an impact as possible.
Broadening My Reach
While my team and I can help a number of individuals and families each year, our capacity has its limits. That’s where my role on our agency’s leadership team comes in. I have been serving as a Director of Growth and Development, where I mentor and coach college interns and new advisors. Yes, I have a passion for educating and developing others. And now they are just as passionate about helping people reach financial security. Just like that, my reach has multiplied.
Double Duty
My role outside the office is all about family. I met Riley back in 2014 and we’ve built an amazing family, Ava (7) and Ezra (2).
I’m one of those sports parents, who somehow manages to get Ava to one of her numerous activities – soccer, dance, piano, swim and now Jujitsu.
We also make special effort to walk our dog Benji, a Siberian Husky, three times a day. He truly is my best friend who has been there for my ups and downs over the years. But my rock is my mom, who we visit every Sunday.
I do make time for myself and get up early to hit the gym seven days a week. My health is important for me so that I can continue to be there for my family… and my clients.
Recognition
I am honored that the Northwestern Mutual community has embraced me, and I’m often asked to speak at large company events and meetings. I am pursuing further education in the financial industry to offer my clients the excellence they deserve.
