Get to know my team

Kristen M Done
ChFC®
Associate Financial Advisor
I grew up here in the Capital Region and a love for family has kept me here. I love that all 3 of my daughters can grow up with their cousins and walk through the woods to grandmother's house (literally!). I spend my spare time helping my husband, Eli, with his maple/honey business as well as learning new things and reading.
Prior to having my family, I focused hard on academics; I graduated early from high school and college. I still managed to spend a semester abroad and travel Europe. My favorite places were Versailles, Pompeii, and the villages in Ireland. I tell myself one day I'll get back to my old love of travelling!
I'm thankful I was able to find a workplace that feels like an extension of my family. We joke together, give each other advice, and share family updates. This camaraderie has built a solid team that cares for not only each other but all our clients.
On a professional note, my drive has enabled me to obtain my FINRA 6 and 63 securities licenses and ChFC® designation.

Meredith Moyer
Associate Financial Representative
Originally hailing from Iowa, Meredith grew up in a small town & attended the University of Iowa (Go Hawks!). Her family moved to New York in 2023, where she joined the Northwestern Mutual team. She’s excited to bring her Midwest quirks and integrity to Ferris Financial to serve friends and clients with the utmost courtesy.
Outside of the office, Meredith enjoys time with her family. Her husband, Dominick, is a coach in the Capital Region at Journeymen Wrestling Club, and their three kids are busy with various activities. When they aren’t running from wrestling rooms to ball fields to playgrounds, Meredith enjoys music, art, watching wrestling, cooking & catching up with friends.
How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.
When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.
Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.
It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
