Personal

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio I moved to Louisville, Kentucky as a child with my family. At a young age, my parents instilled the values of HARD WORK, INTEGRITY, and importance of FAMILY. These core values have been the foundation to my personal and professional life.

I graduated the University of Louisville with a Bachelor's of Science in Business Management. During college, I became a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity and remain an active alumnus today.

I also met my wife, Kali, during college. Kali and I welcomed our first child, Josephine Ambrose, in September of 2016. We live in Middletown, Kentucky and most days are filled with watching Cleveland professional sports, CrossFit workouts, and spending time with my family.

My family and I are also members of the St Leo's Parish in Versallies, KY.

Professional

I began my career with Northwestern as a financial representative intern in 2007 while I was attending the University of Louisville.

I am committed to continuing education and professional development. I hold my Series 6, 63, and 7 FINRA registrations and licensed in 14 states. I hold the CLU, ChFC, RICP, CASL, CLTC, and ChSNC professional designations and a member of NAIFA.

I specialize in working with intelligent and responsible engineers, physicians, and families to help guide them towards financial success. My greatest professional achievements are measured by the impact I have on my client's lives and families.

Best Buddies International

Champion of the Year Camping, Participate

In the fall of 2017, I challenged my team and myself to raise funds for Best Buddies in an annual fundraising competition called Champion of the Year. Best Buddies is a non-profit organization that brings one-to-one friendships to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) with their non-disabled peers. Their vision is to end the social isolation of children and adults with IDD.

I could never imagine my life without the love and support of my friends, and I know that having a disability does not take away that desire or need. But sadly, too many children and adults with IDD face a lifetime of rejection and social isolation, because they lack opportunities to make friends.

With the support of my family, friends and clients, I am happy to announce my team and I raised over $8,500 for the Best Buddies Kentucky.

In the Fall of 2019, I accepted an invitation to serve on the Best Buddies advisory board. I enjoy working as a team to help further Best Buddies and their amazing purpose.

Lending a hand in my community.

Giving back to our community is of high importance to myself and my team. Whether it is fundraising or providing financial education programs in the community, each year we like to partner with local organizations and volunteer our time. Here are some of the organizations we partner with:

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)

ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.

When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.

Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.

It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
