About Me

My career began in Silicon Valley. With a background in optimization and simulation, my first role involved building semiconductor manufacturing models for Intel in their development fab. From there, I moved to PricewaterhouseCoopers, where I developed an e-commerce website for a Fortune 500 company and also trained other consultants in programming and web development.

This experience provided a foundation for my subsequent work on Wall Street. At Bank of America and later Citigroup, my roles were focused on the intersection of technology and finance. On the commodity derivatives desk, I developed complex models to hedge risk for global leaders in energy and transportation. Later, as a quantitative trader at Citigroup, my work included not just trading, but also co-developing a proprietary derivatives trading and portfolio risk management platform, using Java and VBA. After navigating the Global Financial Crisis in New York, I was promoted to Head of Corporate Bond Trading for Australia & New Zealand in Sydney.

A strong interest in building systems has been a consistent thread throughout my career, starting with running a multi-line BBS as a teenager. I remain an active programmer, fluent in languages from C++ to Python, and continue to use these skills to explore my ideas at the nexus of finance, AI, and machine learning.

Today, I bring this combination of market experience and engineering discipline to my work as a financial advisor. My role is to serve as an experienced caretaker for the wealth of a select group of families, providing the seasoned guidance required to navigate the complexities of their financial lives.
