I was born and raised in Yuma, AZ and earned my Bachelor's Degree from Northern Arizona University. Prior to opening my financial planning practice, I taught high school social studies in Yuma and in Athens. My wife, two children and I live just outside of Athens in Oglethorpe County and have lived in the Athens area since 2015. I enjoy playing golf, watching football and baseball, cooking and spending time with my family. Helping people achieve financial security and freedom is extremely important to me and I would love to sit down and get to know you and your family to learn what is important to you.

After spending 10 years in public education, I realized that it was time for a change. I knew I loved teaching and helping, and financial planning was a perfect fit. I chose to partner with Northwestern Mutual because of the way they treat clients and their impeccable reputation. As an educator and a financial advisor I get to teach and help my clients with comprehensive financial planning. I hold FINRA Series 6 and 63 securities licenses, life and health insurance licenses, and long-term care insurance license.
I believe that I have succeeded when someone leaves a conversation with me and is more educated, motivated, and ready to achieve their personal, professional, and financial goals. The real value to me is knowing someone is more confident about the direction of their plan and educated on the decisions they get to make.

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)
ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.
Beads of Courage
Beads of Courage is an art-in-medicine program that helps kids with cancer tell their unique treatment story through colorful beads that are symbols of their courage.
