About Me
I grew up in Southern California with a very blessed home and close family life. My dad was an entrepreneur and my mom stayed home to care for my siblings and I. As I grew older, I started to pay attention to the money dynamics that played a part in my parent’s relationship and our family – both good and bad. It wasn’t until my father passed away in 2017 that I really understood the negative impact that a family (and spouse) could suffer by NOT having a solid financial plan in place. Navigating through the massive changes that occurred with not only losing my dad, but having to plan for my mom and the financial burden’s she was left with led me to grow extremely passionate about the need for financial literacy and planning.
Growing through this life change, I decided to take my several years of financial industry experience on our management team at Northwestern Mutual and become an Advisor with the firm. My goal was and is twofold – to make sure families plan ahead and don’t have to go through the financial stress my family and I had to go through when hit with life’s unexpected events AND to empower women to get educated, confident & proactive with their money and financial futures.
Outside of running my practice, I really enjoy taking my kids on new adventures, being outdoors at the beach or on hiking trails, and learning more about holistic health & wellness. I’ve lived in Orange County and San Diego County for most of my adult life and currently reside in Carlsbad, CA with Christian, my husband, and two little ones, Mazen & Sophia.

Professional
I joined Northwestern Mutual in 2014 as the Chief of Staff for our Irvine, CA office where I spent five years attracting talent and developing advisors. Over the course of that time, I realized that my true passion is for developing one-on-one relationships and helping people build confidence in defining and achieving their goals. In 2019, I became a financial advisor at the company with the desire and passion to provide financial education and guidence to clients.
I have expertise in tax efficiency, risk management, retirement planning, investment strategy, and wealth preservation & distribution. I work with clients on creating a comprehensive planning experience that focuses on their goals and desired outcomes. I see financial empowerment as a key component to my work and really enjoying helping clients, especially other women, build confidence in their financial lives and futures – enabling them to stress less & live more.
Prior to embarking on my professional journey, I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (with a minor in Psychology) from California State University, San Marcos. I currently partake in numerous courses to continue the expansion of my financial education and stay up to date with industry changes.

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.
When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.
Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.
It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
