Meet Emmanuel

Problem Solver

My journey began with uncertainty about which career path to pursue, but my passion for math and science led me to college where I encountered an inspiring professor who was a CPA. Inspired by their guidance, I decided to embark on a career in accounting and finance. After college, I entered the banking industry and am currently working on becoming a Certified Financial Planner. I did pass level one of the CFA program. This experience sharpened my critical and analytical thinking skills, providing a strong foundation for my future endeavors.

During this time, my wife had relocated from Cameroon, Central Africa to the United States for a promising career opportunity, which posed challenges as we were physically apart. Balancing my family and career from a distance felt unfulfilling. However, everything changed when one of our children was born with a genetic condition. The realization that my family needed me in the United States on a full-time basis prompted me to make the courageous decision to prioritize their well-being. It was a leap of faith that would shape the course of my life.

The transition to the United States came with its own set of hurdles as I awaited employment authorization while simultaneously caring for our newborn with special needs. Reflecting on my experiences, I discovered that my happiest moments were when I worked closely with people, engaging in deep analytical work while being part of a profession that values family and offers flexibility to express oneself. This realization ultimately led me to become a financial advisor, where I truly belong, helping clients find financial independence without having to compromise other important aspects of their lives.

DETERMINATION

I firmly believe that when you dedicate your heart and diligence to a goal, progress is inevitable. As the saying goes, "Success is not final, failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts."

My Values

Honesty, Integrity, Diligence, Resilience, Continuous Learning

While my roots lie in Cameroon, Central Africa, Tulsa has become my home. I met my wife, Adele, during college through our shared love for choral music. Now, after over a decade of marriage, we are blessed with four beautiful children—Jaynie, Mary Joanna, Joseph, and John Baptist. Our family enjoys engaging in various activities, including music, sports, and school events. Spending quality time together, playing music, reading, and cheering for Novak Djokovic and Manchester United FC are some of our cherished moments.

Many are fascinated to learn that I have only eaten one meal a day every Wednesday and Friday for over five years. To me it stems from self-mastery and discipline.

Our approach to financial planning

Our Approach

We bring clarity over my clients' life goals. We want them to know how to get there and when they can expect to get there with a probability analysis to support the projections.

Whether you want clarity and a path towards your vision for your career, funding your children’s education or your own retirement, I am here to help guide those conversations.

Who We Serve

We enjoy helping families and successful individuals who have big life goals and dreams that they want to accomplish but aren’t sure how to get there. My team provides a clear pathway, not just a bunch of financial products.

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.

When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.

Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.

It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
