Welcome!

I am a Wealth Management Advisor and Field Director within the Dierks Network Office located in Holland and Grand Rapids, MI.

The most important thing that I witnessed growing up was family. They encouraged me to always do well, by doing good. Seeing how my parents were able to make an impact on my life and others was a powerful message that I keep to this day. Whether it was on the ice rink, baseball diamond, the golf course, or at a community health event, they paved the way for my Why; "My Impact Will Always Be Remembered".

Over the years, the many trips to the rink allowed my competitiveness to shine as a college athlete. The lessons learned through this experience has engrained three things into my daily routine that I hold dear:

1. The desire to win as a team.

2. The drive to never give up.

3. Always remain humble.

I am dedicated to my role in leadership within Northwestern Mutual as a Field Director where I am able to coach and mentor newer advisors and celebrate their development and successes.

Within the community, I am the Chapter President of Ottawa County Guys Who Give. We are a dedicated group of men that meet quarterly to impact 501(c)3's and expand on the mission of doing good.

My most important titles however are Husband to my beautiful wife Ashley and Father to our 2 amazing boys, Smith, and Brooks. We cherish making memories as a family through traveling, playing hockey, golfing, and always being in the moment.

Servant Leadership - Community Giving

"Our Impact Will Always Be Remembered"

Being actively involved in the community is a great way to live out ones Why. The above battle cry comes from a strong desire to leave the world better than we found it. Our team supports and encourages those to find their passion and lean in to the ability to make an impact in their communities.

is to inspire growth within our communities and serving a broader reach of impact. I'm proud to help accelerate the search for better childhood cancer treatments while supporting families undergoing treatment, and survivors from late effects. Here are some of the organizations we partner with:

Guys Who Give - Ottawa County

Guys Who Give is an organization that creates a platform for continued giving. The mission of the organization is to be a giving circle for under supported 501(c)'s within our community. My involvement is to be a front line catalyst through leading the efforts of collaboration and unity for local charities.

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.

When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.

Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.

It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
