Valerie was born in Providence, RI, with proud Dominican Republic roots. Valerie holds a background in International Relations and Marketing and is passionate about empowering others to tap into their greatest potential. She is also an advocate for women empowerment and takes on creative initiatives and projects, especially in the design space. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, gardening, tending to her plants, and traveling to explore new cultures. Valerie is a Fulbright scholar, and fun fact, she has rocked her curly hair for the past seven years with pride. She has attended five different high schools and is grateful for the unique experiences that have helped shape who she is today, fun and fabulous!

Gelsandra Guzman is a passionate Communications Strategist and mother of two, originally from Providence, RI and proud of her Dominican Republic heritage. She holds a BA in Fashion Merchandising and has a strong background in communications and marketing. Gelsandra is deeply committed to using her expertise to make a positive impact in her community, and is passionate about building confidence and empowering others through fashion. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, spending time with her family, and collecting magazines. Gelsandra is known for her emotional attachment to the work she does and sheds a tear every time she sees the positive impact it has on the lives of others.
