Glenn Graves
Wealth Management Advisor|CFP®, AEP®
Professional
After attending a small, private college in New England, I worked in the non-profit space for 20 years. This business experience, coupled with wealth management and financial and estate planning, provides great background and insight for clients to grow businesses and careers, attract and retain productive employees, protect families, build greater wealth, enjoy life more, and leave a legacy for their favorite cause or loved ones.
I hold several financial industry designations that give me great tools to help you:
CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®
Bringing all the pieces of your financial life together is a challenging task. Today, more than ever, CFP® professionals are an essential resource. From insurance protection, to planning for retirement, to saving for education, to managing your legacy concerns and building generational wealth; “Finances” doesn’t mean just one thing for most Americans — and “financial planning” means much more than just investing.
CFP® professionals have completed extensive training and experience requirements and are held to rigorous ethical standards. They understand the complexities of the changing financial climate and will make recommendations in your best interest.
ACCREDITED ESTATE PLANNER®
The AEP® designation is a graduate level specialization in estate planning, obtained in addition to already recognized professional credentials within the various disciplines of estate planning. It is awarded by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC) to estate planning professionals who meet stringent requirements of experience, knowledge, education professional reputation, and character.
Personal
When I am not working, I enjoy riding my bicycle along the ocean in Florida or the mountains of Western North Carolina. I participate in several charity rides and Gran Fondos each year. One of my bikes is a titanium travel bicycle that breaks down into a suitcase and can fly with regular luggage - pretty great for a guy who is 6'7"! You will see the bike in the background if we do zoom meetings from my home office. I enjoy sporting clays and participate in several charity tournaments annually.
My son, Daniel, and I enjoy section hiking the Appalachian Trail and all things outdoors.
For relaxation, I play piano by ear, enjoy traveling and great shoes.
Lending a hand in my community.

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.
When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.
Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.
It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
