Heather grew up in Oregonia, OH, attending Lebanon High School. After high school, she moved to Morgantown, WV to attend West Virginia University. Heather is married to Robert and has a four legged furry child (aka Bravo).  Heather joined Northwestern Mutual in the Morgantown office in 2016, and while she loved working there and all the connections she made during her 11 years living in West Virginia, she and Robert decided it would be best for them to move to Lebanon, OH to be closer to her family.

Heather joined the West Chester office for Northwestern Mutual in 2017 and immediately got started on building her professional network by joining multiple community programs such as the West Chester Liberty Chamber Alliance and other networking groups.

Heather enjoys spending time with her friends and family, kayaking, trying delicious foods, and sampling all the local breweries the Cincinnati and Dayton area has to offer. Keep an eye out for her riding in her Jeep with the top back, doors off, with her dog strapped in enjoying all the fresh air as they head to her mom’s house to lounge by the pool.

Professional

After graduating from West Virginia University, I began my career in finance as a Finance Manager at a dealership in Morgantown, West Virginia. After 2.5 years of working the long days and weekends, I left the dealerships to begin working as a Banker for BB&T in one of their Morgantown, WV branches. Impressed by my attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond in my assistance with him, I was approached by the managing director of the Morgantown office for Northwestern Mutual about joining as a Financial Representative.

Flash forward a few years, with a move back to my home state, and a start in a new-to-me-office in West Chester, OH and I can say I have found right where I want my career to be! Northwestern Mutual has afforded me the opportunity to do what I love by helping ensure others are financially secure, helping to grow their wealth, and leave behind a legacy for their families.

From 2018-2024, in addition to being a Financial Advisor, I was part of the leadership team in our office. From being the College Unit Director to Field Director, to now Growth and Development Director. This allowed me to coach and mentor new advisors in our office to ensure that they get to learn the ins-and-outs of our industry, while assisting them with client meetings.

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.

When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.

Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.

It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
