A native of Central Virginia, Jacob Conley now lives in Charlottesville, where he works as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional. He valued staying close to home when starting his practice, and Charlottesville proved to be a great place to begin his family and establish his financial planning business. Jacob's wife, Kathryn, dances professionally with the Charlottesville Ballet. Their core values revolve around family, kindness, and wellness.
Jacob's family is deeply rooted in the concept of financial security, which led him to start his practice with Northwestern Mutual. His parents broke the cycle of poverty by working hard, saving, and becoming business owners. This entrepreneurial background makes Jacob's team an invaluable resource for business owners looking to protect their biggest asset and engage in overall business planning.
In his free time, Jacob enjoys backpacking around the mountains within driving distance of Charlottesville and spending time with Kathryn exploring new places. Their DIY projects never end and they try to find new ways to spend as much time as possible with family and friends.

Jacob has been involved with LABP since 2016 and has been on the board since 2018. Jacob now serves as Vice President. The Lake Anna Business Partnership exists to promote a business environment that stimulates responsible commercial development providing goods and services to the lake region in partnership with like-minded citizens, local governments, and civic organizations that seek to preserve for future generations the treasure of Lake Anna.
