Jim resides in Crystal Lake with his wife, Janet.  He has two daughters, Lauren and Jillian.

Jim enjoys playing tennis and running, Jim ran in the 2000 Chicago Marathon.

In his free time, Jim also likes to be involved in his church, Jim plays hand bells and is a member of Crystal Brass; a brass quintet.

This year Jim is celebrating his 32th year with Northwestern Mutual. Jim joined Northwestern Mutual in 1984, he has serviced as a Financial Representative, Field Director, Managing Director, and Jim is currently servicing as a Financial Advisor.

Jim believes financial security is different for every person, and it varies throughout life. Jim looks at the process of achieving financial security as the peace of mind that comes from taking action today to provide for tomorrow. He believes his role with his clients is first, understanding their vision and then making helpful recommendations.

Jim has earned many awards throughout his career, including the National Sales Achievement Award 1990, and the National Quality Award, which he received 10 times (1986, 1988-1995, 2002). Jim is a Certified Coach and Certified Trainier with the Northwestern Mutual.

ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.
