James Munder

James started with Northwestern Mutual in 2007 as a part of the college internship program. He believes that financial planning is not just about numbers; it's about enabling individuals and families to live the lives they desire. By understanding his clients' unique goals and aspirations, he provides tailored strategies to help them achieve financial security and peace of mind. With over a decade of industry experience, he has consistently demonstrated his expertise and commitment to client satisfaction. He believes that the greater impact he has on those around him, the larger the legacy he will be able to leave. Outside of the office, James is a devoted father who is deeply involved in his family. He is also an avid golfer and a passionate fan of Chicago sports teams. His love for family and community is evident in his dedication to both his professional and personal life. 

Kyle's financial services career began in 2013 with PwC's audit practice in Chicago, following the completion of his accounting and finance degrees from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business. In 2015, he transitioned to the M&A due diligence group, focusing on transactions involving banks, insurance companies, and asset management firms. Kyle joined the Munder Financial team in 2020, driven by a desire to make a more meaningful impact on the lives of his clients and their families. His extensive background and technical expertise allow our team to provide unique and thoughtfully tailored service to our clients. Kyle is married to his beloved wife, Kathryn, and together they have two children, Henry, and Lilian. Kyle's dedication to his family and his commitment to his career are evident in everything he does. He is a devoted father, a loving husband, and a respected professional who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team.

Carly joined the Munder Financial team in 2018, bringing her previous experience as a Real Estate Agent in the greater Indianapolis area. Although much of her work at Munder Financial occurs behind the scenes, Carly is driven by a passion for helping the team implement best practices that elevate the client experience. Carly's ability to think outside the box and her constant pursuit of innovative solutions are invaluable assets to our firm. She is always exploring new ways to improve our processes and exceed client expectations. Her dedication to providing exceptional service is evident in everything she does, and her positive impact on our team and our clients is immeasurable. Carly has been married to James for nine years, and together they have three children: Marlowe, Mac, and Lane. A devoted mother, Carly balances her professional responsibilities with her role as a loving and supportive parent exceptionally.

Rebecca joined the team in 2023, bringing with her a wealth of experience in financial services. Prior to her current role, she served as a Financial Advisor, leveraging her expertise to guide clients towards their financial goals. Rebecca graduated from Indiana University in May 2022 with a degree in Financial Management, solidifying her foundation in the field. A lifelong Indianapolis resident, Rebecca enjoys spending her free time indulging in her passions for reading, baking, staying active, and exploring new destinations. Her ability to combine her financial acumen with a genuine enthusiasm for personal and professional growth makes her an important asset to the Munder team.

Allison joined the team in 2024, bringing a wealth of experience in relationship-building and organizational skills. A native of Terre Haute, Indiana, Allison graduated from Indiana State University with a degree in Psychology. Her career began with a rewarding role fundraising for United Way, where she witnessed firsthand the importance of financial security and effective management. This experience deepened her passion for helping others and inspired her to pursue a career that would allow her to serve clients more directly. When not working, Allison enjoys staying active outdoors, exploring new destinations, indulging in her love of reading, and giving back to her community through volunteer work. Her dedication to relationship building and her commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of others are what set her apart.

Katie Schultz joined the team in January 2025 and has experience working at Northwestern Mutual for over five years. Her extensive knowledge and experience in the insurance space are just the starting points of what makes Katie exceptional. What truly sets her apart is her unwavering kindness and dedication to both her clients and colleagues. Katie's fanatical attention to detail is a testament to her commitment to excellence, ensuring that every client receives personalized and impeccable service.
