Professional
Jamie vividly remembers how overwhelming financial planning and investing felt as a young professional fresh out of college. She also recalls the relief she felt when she found her Northwestern Mutual financial advisor in 2008, who clarified confusing concepts and helped her build her own customized financial plan, based on her goals. Today, she thrives on her ability to help professional women build their financial confidence and customized financial plans in a safe space - with her guidance.
She is a proud to be a wealth management advisor, fiduciary and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. She has also obtained the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designations from the American College and the Certification for Long Term Care (CLTC®) designation. She has her Series 6, 7 and 63 licenses.
Jamie has achieved MDRT (million dollar round table) production and received the Pearl Circle of Excellence award from WIFS, Women in Financial Services.
She was chosen as a leader in Northwestern Mutual's 250th Fastrack Academy based upon her business and leadership results. In September of 2022, she completed her Capstone Project on integrated financial planning, as part of the Northwestern Mutual Women's Leadership Program. Jamie is active in the Diversity and Inclusion Counsel for Northern Ohio, and founded a women's group for the Northern Ohio Firm in 2022.
Jamie spends a portion of her time helping to identify, select, and mentor new advisors and representatives within the firm. Our firm is growing rapidly, so we'd be happy to hear from you if you know someone who would like to learn more about this career.
Lending a hand in my community.
Jamie is actively involved as an affiliate member of the Women in Law section of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, and sponsored SNAWA for many years. She's a member of the lifelong learning committee for her temple, Suburban Temple Kol Ami, the Cookie Manager for her daughters Girl Scouts junior troop, and is an active PTA member at her children's school, on both the VIP Breakfast committee, and 4th grade music program committee. She also donates blood with the Red Cross every 8 weeks, and has donated 10" or more of her hair six times since age 18.
As part of Northwestern Mutual, she is proud to help accelerate the search for better childhood cancer treatments while supporting families undergoing treatment, and survivors from late effects. In 2022, Jamie rallied the NM Northern Ohio Women's group to fundraise and sponsor giveaways for our Toledo office's 6th annual golf tournament, which fundraises for Alex's Lemonade Foundation.
Here are some organizations we partner with:
Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)
ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.

Beads of Courage
Beads of Courage is an art-in-medicine program that helps kids with cancer tell their unique treatment story through colorful beads that are symbols of their courage.

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.
When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.
Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.
It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
