Professional

As a Wealth Management Advisor, professionalism is defined not only by the measure of one's experience, education and accreditation, but by one's character and professional standard of practice in supporting clients as a trusted financial expert.

Through personal commitment, professional associations, accreditations and continuing education, I have worked hard to establish a reputation as a respected professional and to gain the trust of clients.

I graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Systems Engineering before moving to Boulder, Colorado. Before joining Northwestern Mutual, I worked in the Engineering profession for many years and earned my MBA from University of Colorado, Boulder.

I have been honored as an emerging leader in Boulder County by being named a winner of Boulder County Business Report's Forty Under 40, and being named as a Notable Women in Finance by BizWest magazine in 2021.

I have earned the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), and Certified in Long-Term Care (CLTC) designations. I am a qualifying member of Member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) and National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA).

Personal

I have been a resident of the Boulder/Denver area since 1998 and grew up in Maryland. My husband Geoff and I enjoy living in Boulder County, Colorado and have two beautiful kids Grady and Callyn. Our family is passionate about enjoying the activities the Rocky Mountains offer including cycling, dirt biking, skiing, running, triathlons, golfing, and gardening.

One of my most passionate hobbies is competing as an amateur elite world level triathlete and cyclist and have qualified multiple times for the Xterra Triathlon World and USA National Championships. In 2013 I placed 4th in my age group at the Xterra Triathlon World Championship and placed 7th in the World in 2014.

Lending a hand in my community.

As part of Northwestern Mutual, I'm proud to help accelerate the search for better childhood cancer treatments while supporting families undergoing treatment, and survivors from late effects. Here are some of the organizations we partner with:

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)

ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.

When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.

Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.

It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
