John helps his clients achieve balance in their financial lives, while enabling them to minimize worry and regret. He focuses on aligning their values and goals with their financial habits & actions.
His mission is to be a long term financial partner with his clients. He is there with them every step of the way as they build and achieve financial security. He and his team provide platinum level service for their clients.
John has been with Northwestern Mutual since he was a college intern his final semester at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. After graduating college in 2002, he became a full time Financial Advisor and has since earned numerous achievements, including National Quality Award and Million Dollar Roundtable. He has earned the Chartered Life Underwriter designation, and occasionally speaks in the area about investment and financial planning topics.
John has been married to Ellie since 2012. They are proud parents of Jack & Lucy. He is active with several St. Louis community charities that help disadvantaged youth, and in his spare time enjoys being active with family and friends, reading, & fitness.

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)
ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.
Beads of Courage
Beads of Courage is an art-in-medicine program that helps kids with cancer tell their unique treatment story through colorful beads that are symbols of their courage.
Loyola Academy
Loyola Academy of St. Louis is a Jesuit middle school for boys who have the potential for college preparatory work, but whose progress may be impeded by economic or social circumstances. The Loyola community conducts a challenging program that supports families in preparing each student to achieve his full human potential. In the Ignatian tradition, the school inspires its students to lives of service and leadership through the use of their God-given talents.
Kingdom House
Kingdom House believes in transformation... from the inside out. Through a variety of services, childcare, food & clothing assistance, job training, youth and teen programs and Senior Companions, Kingdom House helps thousands yearly to achieve self-sufficiency and gain economic independence. Since 1902, Kingdom House has been transforming the lives of individuals in St. Louis.
