Christin Baker
MAcc, M.Ed., M.M.
Chief Strategy Officer
Christin is a Winston-Salem native and currently serves as the Chief Strategy Officer for the firm. She has been friends with the Goocey family since college and welcomed the opportunity to join the team. Before beginning this role, she taught mathematics both at a school for students with autism and at a university in Utah.
Christin carries her passion for education into finance and loves cultivating relationships with clients, teaching about finance, crunching numbers, and researching tax regulations. Christin will finish the Master’s in Accounting program at UNC Chapel Hill in December 2023 and plans to sit for the CPA exam in 2024.
Additionally, Christin has earned master’s degrees in both music and education, and she is an accomplished professional musician. She currently serves as the organist and choir director for local Episcopal church. When not working, studying, or practicing, Christin spends her time reading, experimenting with new recipes, and hiking with her two Shorkies.

Terri Vancil
Director of Operations and Client Service
Terri grew up in western Kentucky and serves as the Director of Operations and Client Service for the firm. She is also Joshua Goocey’s mother-in-law and (more importantly) the best grandmom in the world.
Terri cares deeply about people and enjoys helping them achieve their goals. Empathy, consistency, efficiency, and attention to detail are Terri’s natural gifts – gifts fully developed over her thirty-year career in church music ministry and necessary qualities in her role directing operations and client service.
She earned music degrees from Murray State University (KY) and The University of North Carolina, Greensboro. In 2022, Terri and her husband Doug concluded twenty-four years serving as the Ministers of Music in a large Baptist church in Greensboro, NC.
Terri strives to find joy and beauty in all aspects of life -- from relationships with clients, friends, and family to travel, gardening, music-making, and all things sacred in creation.
