Josh Miller-LaBar

Josh grew up in Ithaca, NY. He then went on to play basketball in college in Buffalo, NY, where he was a college intern for the Rochester Northwestern Mutual office. As an intern, Josh was ranked top 10 in the nation, out of just over 5,000 interns. He then went on to be the number 1 ranked first year advisor in the  state of NY.

A long time Yankee, Josh moved himself and his practice down to Raleigh, NC at the start of 2023. At this point in his career, most of his clients are attorneys, highly compensated sales professionals and business executives, and business owners.

Outside of work - Josh loves to be active. He enjoys lifting weights, hot yoga, and going for long runs. He also plays a ton of basketball, and is in a competitive beach volleyball league.

Favorite Meal: Any sort of spicy sushi roll

Kurtis grew up in Ithaca, NY. After spending a few years in the accounting space, Kurtis developed a true passion for personal and business financial planning. 

Being lifelong friends (No kidding - since Kindergarten) with Josh. After many conversations, it was a perfect fit for Kurtis to take over as Director of Operations. He oversees everything from Planning, Investment Research, Insurance, and Client Servicing. 

Kurtis loves to hunt and fish. In November, you will usually catch him in a tree stand in the woods in Upstate, NY. 

Favorite Meal: Steak (Rare) with mashed potatoes and asparagus.
