Professional

As a business professional with a strong commitment to serve my community, I believe it is important to work for a company whose values resonate with my own. I value generosity, personal responsibility, empowering others, and community service. I have spent my entire career at Northwestern Mutual for one simple reason....it is a company reflective of my beliefs and allows me to live and honor my values; both inside and outside the organization.

My community commitment is to impact people's lives and help build a stronger world by helping people become purposeful and self-sufficient. I am proud to have been honored as a Difference Maker by BusinessWest in the inaugural class of 2009. This honor is bestowed yearly to a select group of area professionals to acknowledge leadership and service to the community.

In addition, I have been honored by the Professional Women's Chamber of Western Massachusetts as Woman of the Year in 2011, and by The Affiliated Chambers of Commerce of Greater Springfield as the 2015 Richard J. Moriarty Citizen of the Year.

In 2018, I was honored by the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts with the Distinguished Advisor in Philanthropy award. In 2019, I was inducted into the Bay Path University Women Business Leaders Hall of Fame.

My community commitments include co-founding both the Western Massachusetts Dress for Success affiliate and the Worcester Dress for Success affiliate organization; both of these assist low-income women to become economically self-sufficient. My board involvement has included:

  • The Women's Fund of Western Massachusetts
  • The Sisters of Providence Health Systems
  • Friends of the Homeless

I currently serve on:

  • The Boards of Girls Inc. of the Valley
  • Our Lady of the Elms College
  • Chair of the Board for the Springfield

We are here to serve our clients and impact people's lives. Please let me know how we can assist you in the obtainment of your financial goals and dreams.

Lending a hand in my community.

As part of Northwestern Mutual, I'm proud to help accelerate the search for better childhood cancer treatments while supporting families undergoing treatment, and survivors from late effects. Here are some of the organizations we partner with:

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)

ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.

When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.

Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.

It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
