Personal
LaMont M. Henry is from Virginia Beach, Virginia. He is married to Lisa and they have 3 children: Jaylyn, Hailey and Logan. He is passionate about golf, wine, cornhole and learning. LaMont established his financial planning practice with Northwestern Mutual over a decade ago to help people live the best versions of their lives, not just in retirement but everyday leading up to it as well. In order to do this at an extremely high level LaMont has been educated at Colby College, The American College of Financial Services and Harvard Business School Online.
Outside of work LaMont is active in the community, at the request of the Governor of Virginia, LaMont accepted a gubernatorial appointment to the board of the Assistive Technology Loan Fund Authority where he helps individuals and families with special needs get funding to enhance their lives through assistive technology. LaMont also spends much of his time as a Board member of The Norfolk Botanical Garden & Old Dominion Athletic Foundation where he gets to indulge in his love for sports.
