Meet Lisa: The Chief Conversation Officer
Family
My family is my driving force, drawing inspiration from the resilience and work ethic of my immigrant parents who rebuilt their lives after the Vietnam War. My husband William and I navigate parenthood with our three children, Phillip, Matthew and Lauren.
Our family adventures include travel, camping, and game nights. We are self-proclaimed foodies and love to savor exotic cuisine.

Professional
My venture into finance began as a college intern in Northwestern Mutual's Top Ten ranked internship program*. Today, I proudly serve as a leading Wealth Management Advisor in Orange County. Beyond my dedication to clients, I actively engage in industry initiatives that champion women's success as financial planners.
I am unwavering in my commitment to clients, fueled by a genuine desire to understand their circumstances and devise plans aligned with their values and goals. Through my enthusiasm, knowledge, integrity, and sincerity in financial planning, I've empowered numerous families and businesses to attain financial confidence.
* In 2020, Vault ranked NM #5 within the financial services industry and also ranked NM in the top 10 for overall career development.

Lending a hand in my community.
As part of Northwestern Mutual, I'm proud to help accelerate the search for better childhood cancer treatments while supporting families undergoing treatment, and survivors from late effects. Here are some of the organizations we partner with:
HoldYou Foundation
Lisa is especially passionate about fundraising and volunteering to help families avoid financial crisis. That is why she joined the Board of Directors for HoldYou Foundation in 2022. HoldYou Foundation helps to remove the financial barriers many families face when their children experience a medical crisis, so that they can care for their families with stability, dignity and love. The Foundation covers for critical needs such as rent, utilities, food, gas, and childcare to alleviate financial stress.

KaBOOM!
On December 3, 2016, she, her children, and 180 other volunteers with Northwestern Mutual and KaBOOM! helped build a playground for a low-income community in Fullerton.

TGR Foundation
She also advocates for providing support and resources to students through the Tiger Woods Foundation. The foundation has numerous programs to challenge and empower college students pursuing a STEM education.

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.
When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.
Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.
It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
