About Me
I'm a dedicate husband and father. My wife, Heather, inspired me to want and expect more from myself. When we met, we knew we wanted a family and shortly after we married, we wanted to grow our family. After a few years, it seemed like it wouldn't be in our future. But when our son's adoption was finally complete, we found out that the universe can happen for us and not just to us. After a very dedicated IVF process, we welcomed our daughter and now as a family of 4 I still swell with pride thinking about what it took to build our family. We are also dog parents of two adopted mixed breeds. We enjoy our family most when in the mountains enjoying the outdoor Colorado lifestyle. I'm a musican and love many types of music and music performance, but truly believe Jazz is the essence of melding our country's history and unique contribution to the musical cannon.
I found this work after a long career in hospitality caring for others and knowing that my superpower was making others feel special and cared-for. This career has allowed me to build long-lasting relationships and be a pillar of strength when others are most in need.
I'm committed to helping you get closer to your dreams. When you partner with me, you can expect a judgment-free, pressure-free environment with conversations that will be jargon-free. I strive to provide you the best experience possible.
Who are we best at helping?
Physicians--As the brother of a physician, I've become aware of the unique planning and service that physicians require and strive to help them capture their opportunity to make the most of their demanding work and protect what they built.
Attorneys--My years in mock trial programs on a law school undergraduate track made me realize this career can have very unique needs. This makes us friend and financial advisor to many in this career.
Acount Executives and Salespeople--Those with a highly variable income and much upside in their professional lives value conversations about how to stay on track and a unique plan designed to accomodate this style of income.
Retirement Planning--Meeting with people in the critical years leading up to their freedom day is so rewarding. With the biggest generational segment of the population heading into the retirement we noticed the need and became specialized in helping people go from earning a paycheck to creating one (see RICP designation).

Lending a hand in my community.
As part of Northwestern Mutual, I'm proud to help accelerate the search for better childhood cancer treatments while supporting families undergoing treatment, and survivors from late effects. Here are some of the organizations we partner with:
Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)
ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.

Beads of Courage
Beads of Courage is an art-in-medicine program that helps kids with cancer tell their unique treatment story through colorful beads that are symbols of their courage.

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.
When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.
Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.
It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
