Rotary - Trip to India
One of the benefits of being a Rotarian is connecting with Rotary family throughout the world. I had the pleasure of traveling with Rotary to Rajasthan, India. Our Texas delegation was hosted by Rotarians in their beautiful homes. These families showed us around the cities of Jaipur, the City of Pink Palaces, Udaipur City of Water Palaces, and in Jaisalmer, I got to ride a camel!
Colorado Mountains
I have been visiting Keystone, Colorado for many years and mainly in the summer to avoid the Texas heat. After the pandemic I was able to work here as well as vacation. I enjoy hiking to the top of Shrine Pass where the Ute Indians were said to worship. It was truly a spiritually experience! I also enjoy golfing and yoga around Lake Dillon, which provides for spectacular scenery!
California Family Fun!
Taking full advantage of having family in the Bay Area by spending time in Napa Valley and visiting the Napa Valley wineries.
Zumba
Three to five times a week I dance. After class we have fun posing for pictures - It is so fun!
I love Astro's Baseball!
Grit! The Houston Astros have played in the World Series in 4 out of the last 6 years, winning in 2017 after Houston was bombarded by Tropical Storm Harvey with 51 inches of rain. For the last several years, at every ballpark other than Minute Maid Park (the Astors home field), they are booed and despite that they are the 2023 World Champs. GRIT. I was able to attend game 2 of the World Series with my son - nothing finer! I love baseball.
