As part of Northwestern Mutual, I'm proud to help accelerate the search for better childhood cancer treatments while supporting families undergoing treatment, and survivors from late effects. Here are some of the organizations we partner with:
Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)
ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.

Beads of Courage
Beads of Courage is an art-in-medicine program that helps kids with cancer tell their unique treatment story through colorful beads that are symbols of their courage.

American Black Chiropractic Association (ABCA)
Integrating and improving outcomes for persons of color entering the profession of Doctor of Chiropractic.

Black Business Alumni Association (BBAA), University of Michigan
The Black Business Alumni Association (BBAA) at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business is an organization that connects and supports Black alumni of the Ross School of Business. The BBAA fosters a strong community by providing networking opportunities, career development resources, and platforms for mentorship and engagement. Its mission often centers on advancing the professional growth of its members, promoting diversity and inclusion within the business world, and giving back to the Ross community through initiatives like scholarships, events, and collaboration with current students.

Black Business Students Association (BBSA), University of Michigan
At the University of Michigan, students were responding to the campus-wide Black Action Movement by creating black student organizations at their various colleges. Students saw a need for an organization to champion & ensure black students' survival in the business school. The BBSA was one of the first organizations formed by black students for black business students. The immediate goals of the organization were to increase minority enrollment, improve member academic performance, & retain black business students at both the BBA and MBA levels. Since 1970, the BBSA has been successful in achieving its goals. Through the continuing efforts of the organization & with strong support from the administration of the business school, the BBSA has enhanced the learning experience for its members.

Cornell Black Alumni Association (CBAA), Cornell University | Ithaca, New York
Cornell Black Alumni Association (CBAA) was conceived as an organization devoted to providing a communication network for Black alumni. Over the years, CBAA’s mission and scope of activities has expanded, resulting in myriad programs that have a direct and significant impact on alumni and future Cornell students.

The Houston Medical Forum
The Houston Medical Forum was founded in 1926 as a Houston doctors association for black doctors. Today it exists as a component society of the National Medical Association, Inc. and a branch of the Lone Star Medical Association. Its members consist predominantly of African American physicians and surgeons as well as attended by residents and medical students.

National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) | Houston, Texas
The National Association of Black Accountants (NABA, Inc.) is a nonprofit membership association dedicated to bridging the opportunity gap for black professionals in the accounting, finance and related business professions. Representing more than 200,000 black professionals in these fields, NABA advances people, careers, and the mission by providing education, resources, and meaningful career connections to both professional and student members, fulfilling the principle of our motto: Lifting as We Climb.

National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA) | Houston, Texas
