Personal

Before moving into financial advising I spent 17 years in full time Christian ministry serving various churches across Texas and Louisiana. During this period I also spent time directing orchestras and musicians across the nation. I then moved to Rockwall in 2014 to join Northwestern Mutual's Addison Office and found my passion in the industry.

Matt Robb Conducting an Orchestra

From pastor to farmer to small business owner to financial advising I understand change and all the ups and downs that come with it. Jazz music and trumpet playing fill my weekends while my weekdays are spent with my clients. Whether it is maintaining my own honey business or helping others reach their financial goals I understand the hard work and effort it takes to reap the benefits.

Currently, I reside on my ranch with my wife, Jennifer, and my three children, Caleb, Jacob, and Chloe. I enjoy cycling, music, discipleship training, gardening, and technology.

Lending a hand in my community.

As part of Northwestern Mutual, I'm proud to help accelerate the search for better childhood cancer treatments while supporting families undergoing treatment, and survivors from late effects. Here are some of the organizations we partner with:

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)

ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.
