Matt Occhipinti

I was born and raised in San Antonio, TX. I graduated from UTSA with a degree in Public Relations in 2008. 

I was introduced to Matt after my second daughter was born and my husband and I decided we needed to “adult” and get a financial plan in place in the unfortunate event something happened to one or both of us while the girls were young. I had a specific budget I wanted to adhere to and short- and long-term goals to be met. Matt listened and tailored a plan with those in mind. It wasn’t a one-size fits all plan.

The more conversations I had with Matt, the more I saw that it truly was his passion to help people reach their financial goals. His vision of having a credentialed team to serve San Antonio and surrounding areas really resonated. I joined Matt’s team in February 2019, and I have since gotten my Texas General Lines, Series 6, Series 63 and Series 7 securities licenses.

I am a United States retired Army Sergeant First Class where I was a medic.  I had the great fortune to serve my country and traveled to various places like Fort Knox, Kentucky, and Baumhoholder, Germany.  My favorite place by far is Ft. Bliss, Texas, where I met my wonderful wife Maggie. 

Maggie is also in healthcare and is a nurse.  She is the glue that keeps our family together and the STRENGTH behind it.  We have been married for 13 years and look forward to the rest of our lives together.  Our children are now on their own and writing their next success stories in life.

I have an Associate Degree in Business and a B.A. in Criminal Justice and continue to build on my knowledge base.  I am a people person, striving to help those in need.  I was able to do that as a medic and I can now help those that want to build on their insurance and financial needs.
