Michael William Chartos

Sarah manages the daily operations of Northwestern Mutual - Annapolis and has been with Michael Chartos since 2019, also serving as his Practice Manager. Sarah held many roles with the firm before eventually moving into her current position where she oversees the operations of both the Annapolis district and Mike’s wealth management practice. Sarah especially enjoys working with clients and watching them achieve financial freedom. Sarah is engaged to Avery and resides in Baltimore. She gives back to the community through volunteer work with Special Olympics Maryland, and in her free time enjoys yoga, cooking, antiquing, and appreciating all the beauty and local culture of Baltimore.

Megan joined Northwestern Mutual in 2020 and currently serves as the Investment Operations Manager for Michael Chartos. Megan is fully investment licensed, and in addition to supporting Mike’s clients she manages the investment business for several advisors in the Northwestern Mutual – Annapolis district. In her role, Megan finds fulfilment in her commitment to ongoing professional development and enjoys the ever-changing world of investments where there is always something new to learn and opportunities to grow and better serve our clientele. Megan resides on the Eastern Shore of Maryland with her husband Andrew. They are animal lovers with two dogs and a cat in their family, and outside of the office you may find Megan enjoying time outside near the water, training for a marathon, traveling, or cheering on the Commanders.

Melissa is dedicated to supporting financial professionals and enhancing operational efficiency as an Insurance Operations Manager at Northwestern Mutual. Since joining Mike Chartos’ team in 2023, she has advanced from Financial Representative to Insurance Operations Manager and now leads in her current role where she has developed a passion for working advisors who are new to the career and providing them with insights to help them learn and develop.

Residing in Edgewater, MD, Melissa loves spending time with her two daughters Charlotte and Noah. In her free time, she enjoys going on walks and spending quality time with family and friends.

Roman joined Northwestern Mutual in 2014 and currently serves as the Director of Financial Planning Services for the Maryland region. Roman partners with Michael Chartos to help design financial plans for our clients which address risk management, annuities, and investment solutions. Roman earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from University of Washington and an MBA from Saint Marin’s University. He currently holds the Maryland Life and Health insurance license and the Series 7 & 66 securities registrations.
