Elevating the Trajectory of People’s Lives
Financial Planning for Busy People
Before becoming a financial advisor, I owned a small magazine called West Coaster Beverage News. For ten years, we published monthly print editions and had an active website. We collaborated with small business owners involved in locally produced drinks like beer, wine, and coffee from San Diego. Trust me, I know how tough it can be to focus on future goals while keeping the business running today. That was me!
I grew up in the North Park neighborhood of San Diego, where my parents still live. I went to St. Augustine High School and graduated from San Jose State University. After studying in Madrid, I came back home in 2010 and launched the magazine. A close friend and I ran that business for a decade. By 2020, it was time for a new challenge, and a friend suggested I’d make a great financial advisor. I’m really glad he did (Thanks, Ian!).
My fiancé Amanda and I are set to get married in 2026. In the meantime, we split our time between her condo in Golden Hill and my condo in Pacific Beach with our two cats, Booga (orange boy cat) and Tank Girl (silver tabby lady). On weekends, you’ll find us riding bikes on the Silver Strand, catching a concert, dining at local restaurants, or simply enjoying the beautiful San Diego weather.
