About Me
Born & Raised in Los Angeles, CA, Miranda came from a long line of powerful female entrepreneurs. Her mother ran a successful design practice in the entertainment industry, and her grandmother was a groundbreaking performer and activist for Civil Rights. Both were actively involved in the LGBTQ+ Community, and as a result Miranda was raised to value civil liberties and to celebrate the beauty in our differences.
In college, I attended California State University, Long Beach, graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science and an Associates in Psychology with an emphasis in Human Sexuality and Gender. I also competed in collegiate beach and indoor volleyball, which lead to a 15 year career in coaching. The small amount of spare time in college was dedicated to my involvement in the Gay Straight Alliance, Salsa Club and Multicultural Affinity Groups.
I currently live in North County San Diego with my hilarious Great Dane, Tatum (The Big Potato). I enjoy participating in several local women's groups and LGBTQ+ pride groups. My spare time is typically spent at the beach, hosting game nights with friends, attending community theater events, and going on adventures in the great outdoors.

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.
When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.
Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.
It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
