Empowering Clients to Maximize Their Return on Life

I believe philosophical and personality alignment are the two most important components of partnering with a financial planning team. Since starting my career in 2013, I have come to believe:

  • Success in personal finance has much more to do with psychology and emotion than numbers and formulas. Building wealth is a byproduct of behavior, not simply knowledge because knowing what to do and even how to do it tells you nothing about what happens when you try to do it. Our most significant barrier to planning is our own human nature, which includes a tendency to procrastinate and susceptibility to cognitive bias.

  • The path to financial independence is far simpler and less exciting than what mainstream media promotes. Your habits, time, and strategy have a much more significant influence on success than the stock you pick or your investment returns. Are you focused on short-term results and rate of return or giving yourself the best statistical chance of not running out of money?

  • Money is a tool; its inherent value is living the life you desire. As such, success should be measured not by how much you have (or don’t) but rather by the freedom to do what you want, when you want, with who you want, for as long as you want.

We help you focus on what’s important by turning off the distractions in our noisy world and creating a financial plan that aligns with your values and goals so you can live the life you deserve.
