Personal

Patrick E. Olski, joined Northwestern Mutual in February 2002. Patrick started his career with New England Telephone in 1988, and left at the merger that created Verizon Communications 12 years later.  He enjoyed positions of increasing responsibility in the areas of Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Business Development.  After Verizon, Patrick joined eDial, an Internet based Telecommunications Service Provider, as Director of Business Development for 1 year, then left when the Internet bubble burst in 2001. 

He is originally from Liverpool, New York. He graduated from Syracuse University in 1986 with an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering.  While at Syracuse University Patrick was a member of the Freshman Crew team, and was actively involved with his fraternity Zeta Psi. He earned his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Boston College in 1994.   
 
He is the proud parent of two awesome boys, Brendan (27) who is living and working in San Francisco, and David (25) is an Ornithologist working at a Bird Sanctuary on the Gulf Coast of Texas. 

Leisure activities include watching and attending sporting events, cycling, skiing, and golf.  Patrick has a passion for cooking, music, and backgammon.

Lick Cancer

As part of Northwestern Mutual, I'm proud to help accelerate the search for better childhood cancer treatments while supporting families undergoing treatment, and survivors from late effects.

He has raised over $80k riding in the Pan Mass Challenge (PMC) over 18 years riding with Team Lick Cancer to raise money for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.  The PMC is a 192-mile cycling event completed over 2 days, and has raised over $1B million since 1980 to find a cure for Cancer.     

Sherborn Lions Board Member

While living in Sherborn, Ma I was actively involved with the Sherborn Lions. Our fundraising efforts ranged from collecting recycling bottles at the transfer center to co-hosting fundraising events with other organizations, such as the Breakfast with Santa in December. These fundraisers support many programs in the Lions Club, such as sending relief during times of disaster through the Lions Club International Foundation (LCIF). Eye research is a main focus of Lions and Massachusetts is home to some of the top eye research programs.
