After starting our life and family together many years ago, my wife, Cherie, and I realized we needed an advocate for our financial decisions. It is extremely gratifying to have become that advocate, now guiding our clients to achieve their own financial peace as well.
With two young adult children, Ella and Charlie, we have more conviction in our work than ever; instilling in them the importance of exploring their own financial goals and planning for their futures so they too have peace of mind as they discover what is most important to them.
My family and I currently live just West of Minneapolis, MN, in the Lake Minnetonka area, with our chocolate lab, Oakley. Outside of work I enjoy family time, traveling, and getting outdoors skiing, bicycling, and hiking.

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)
ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.
Pinky Swear Foundation
Pinky Swear Foundation eases the financial and emotional impacts experienced by children with cancer and their families by providing basic needs support and during a very challenging time. Cancer is not a one-day thing. It is hard to imagine what life is like to have a child going through cancer; it affects the whole family. That's why our programs are so important. We do not limit requests from families, nor discriminate on socioeconomic status. When cancer enters life, the simple, everyday things aren’t so simple anymore.
Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding research, finding cures and ensuring access to treatments for blood cancer patients.
Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity partners with people in your community, and all over the world, to help them build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. With your support, Habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability and independence they need to build a better life for themselves and for their families. Through their 2020 Strategic Plan, Habitat for Humanity will serve more people than ever before through decent and affordable housing.
Feed My Starving Children
Feed My Starving Children is a non-profit Christian organization committed to feeding God’s children hungry in body and spirit. The approach is simple: children and adults hand-pack meals specifically formulated for malnourished children, and we ship these meals to nearly 70 countries around the world.
