About me
I'm a former IDF Combat Medic Commander turned Financial Advisor after a career in the blockchain and technology partnerships world.
At 18 I moved to Israel to join the army and served from 2012-2015 in a Combat Search and Rescue Unit, eventually leading the Battalion Medical Team. I was proud to serve alongside women in operational combat roles, and my wonderful wife was a marksmanship instructor for IDF Special Forces. She is now an artist and tech professional regularly exhibiting her work in New York City.
Living in Israel for 11 years, regrettably I shied away from financial planning for myself because it felt intimidating and foreign to me, and I didn't know who to trust.
Now that I'm on the other side of the table (and the Atlantic), I work to help as many families and particularly Israelis living in the US as possible so that they won't have to feel the way I did and won't suffer the consequences of not having a plan.
Some fun facts: I love dogs, training Krav Maga, playing the guitar and reading. My favorite fiction series is The Expanse, and my favorite nonfiction book is Extreme Ownership.
I try my best to integrate the principles of Extreme Ownership into everything I do because I experienced this type of leadership in the military and aspire to replicate it for my own benefit and to better serve the people around me.
Supporting My Community
I strive to serve wherever possible. I open my network to the people around me, making introductions to potential employers, employees or service providers.
I volunteer with Nevut as the NYC Chapter Leader and work to help veterans reintegrate into civilian life and find community. We focus on providing mental healthcare, career counseling and placement, and building a community upon which our brothers and sisters in arms can rely.
I am passionate about disability access and inclusion and work to support families living with disabilities through both financial planning and volunteering.
Nevut
I am proud to volunteer as the New York City Chapter Leader of Nevut IDF Lone Soldier Veterans. Nevut helps IDF Lone Soldier Veterans find community with their brothers and sisters in arms, find meaningful careers after their service, and helps thousands of IDF Veterans access and afford mental health care, including providing therapy dogs. Nevut supports IDF Veterans of all religions, observance levels and from units across the Army, Navy and Air Force. We support over 4000 veterans across the United States and are growing daily. We are honored to serve those who served.
