Professional

Before starting a family, I spent several years pursuing credentials, including CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification (1995), a distinction for financial planners rooted in education, examination, experience and ethics.

The fact that remains is nothing happens until somebody sells something, so I have consigned myself to selling people on their goals and values. I have learned that if you focus on what you ultimately desire rather than what you want right now -and if you help enough people get what they want - everything will work out.

Over 30+ years, I have learned to leverage my time through technology and teamwork and to efficiently match expertise, capacity, personalities and manpower with client needs.

With favorable introductions as my marketing strategy, I commit maximum time and resources to every client, so please tell me about the people you respect and care about most, and give them a chance to say yes or no to learning about some things that are possible and impactful but not well known. If anything happens, it will only be good!

Personal

Linda Densmore and I have six great kids - Ellen, Adam, David, Rachel, Samuel, and Sarah(14), plus three grandkids.

I gave up golf 25 years ago and reallocated those hours to parenting, spiritual growth, physical fitness and the overall health of our family. Homeschooling, speech and debate, and family activities now keep us fully entertained, but fitness, cycling and disc golf are strong attractions when time allows.

My commitment to my family legacy and health is your assurance that my team will be here to help you provide for your family's future. I do not work alone or without a safety net.

Here are my areas of expertise

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.

When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.

Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.

It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
