Food for Thought
Food for Thought is a 100% volunteer organization that strives to eliminate weekend hunger by servicing 79 schools in the Denver, Colorado, area. While most food recipients qualify for free and reduced breakfast and lunch programs during the school week, many kids do not have enough to eat on the weekends. As a result, Food for Thought has set forth one simple mission: fill this weekend hunger gap. Join us to help fulfill their mission to take care of our communities. Diversity and Inclusion Council
At FortySix10 Wealth Management, we believe in being apart of the change to engage, empower, and support all individuals to create an inclusive culture. Sarah Miller serves as a leader on the Diversity and Inclusion Council on a local and national forefront for Northwestern Mutual. In 2010, Sarah formed a platform, The Empowerment Forum, to motivate, encourage, and guide diverse advisors to find success in the career of financial planning. Women's Foundation of Colorado
The Women's Foundation of Colorado believes that women and girls' leadership in all sectors makes a positive difference in communities and society. Their mission is to advance and accelerate economic opportunities for Colorado women and their families. To be apart of this vision, Sarah Miller served as chair of their young professionals' committee on the Empowerment Council. Sarah raised money for WFOC and partnered with Girls, Inc.
Leadership Foundation
The Leadership Foundation values inclusivity, collaboration, shared vision, leadership, and responsibility. It takes leadership to rally a community, solve tough challenges, and create positive change. Early on in Sarah Miller's career, she channeled her leadership skill in the program Impact Denver. Sarah learned about the economic, legislative, and social impacts in Denver, CO and went on to help a local non-profit create a program to place at-risk youth in jobs.
Red Rocks Church
At FortySix10 Wealth Management, we believe in serving and giving back to our community. Sarah Miller is a strong woman of faith and enjoys volunteering at her church, Red Rocks Church. You can find Sarah as a greeter on weekends and involved in various community outreach activities.
