Lending a hand in my community.
As part of Northwestern Mutual, I'm proud to help accelerate the search for better childhood cancer treatments while supporting families undergoing treatment, and survivors from late effects. Here are some of the organizations we partner with:
M Health Fairview Masonic Children's Hospital
Northwestern Mutual is a proud partner of the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital, bringing hope and healing to our patients and families through a commitment to supporting children’s health in our community and beyond. In 2018, our organization pledged $1 Million to the Hospital, designating portions of the gift to programming, emergency assistance, hospital events, and their Child-Family Life specialist program.

Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
My passion to end this cancer comes from watching my mother, who passed away from Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia, and many personal connections with blood cancers. Annually I raise money to support the LLS foundation by climbing 105 flights of stairs in downtown Minneapolis. I am one of the top climbers for total funds raised personally. Northwestern Mutual has been a long-time partner of LLS, the largest voluntary health organization dedicated to fighting blood cancer in the world. Their mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease, and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)
ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.
