While not in the office Shanna enjoys reading, spending time with friends, eating at new local restaurants with her husband Shawn, and spending quality time with her daughter, Rosalie and son, Ronin.

Shanna began her career in 2004 at Hunter Engineering as a Service Specialist. In 2006, she began working at Edward Jones and moved through several roles in IT and systems administration. In 2013, Shanna transitioned to her role as a Financial Representative at Northwestern Mutual. She was able to transfer the valuable problem-solving and customer service skills that she developed at Edward Jones to her own financial practice at Northwestern Mutual. Shanna's business has grown rapidly and she is now a Wealth Management Advisor and a Growth and Development Director. She plays an active role in the recruitment, selection and development of new talent in the Raleigh Network office, and she enjoys working with others to help them achieve their career and financial goals.
Shanna is currently working on her Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU).

ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.

Beads of Courage is an art-in-medicine program that helps kids with cancer tell their unique treatment story through colorful beads that are symbols of their courage.
