Professional

Northwestern Mutual's phenomenal college internship program allowed me to "test drive" the financial advisor career in summer of 2010. I quickly realized that I had found my calling and committed to returning to the Williamsburg, VA office full-time upon graduation. I was fortunate to learn from some of the best in the business in those early years, which helped me to dream big and accelerate the growth of my practice.

I now have the privilege of developing and mentoring other new advisors within our Williamsburg office and am honored to be an alumnus of Northwestern Mutual's Women's Leadership Program. Earning my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional certification, as well as CLU®, ChFC® and RICP® designations, has enabled me to lead my team and be the absolute best advisor possible to my clients and their complex planning needs.

As a team, we strive to bring our clients' visions to reality, whether it's the beginning stages of developing a plan for their growing family, taking their successful business to the next level, or transitioning stress-free into their golden years. We help our clients to live their best financial lives in every way!

Personal

Each day I strive to fulfill my mission: live life by design - never by default - and empower others to do the same. This includes spending quality time with family and friends, planning international travel, daily fitness (particularly CrossFit), frequenting our favorite restaurants as well as discovering new ones, and attending special events on the Peninsula.

My husband, Zachary, and I took a temporary break from our annual international travels when we welcomed our firstborn daughter, Amelia, in October 2021. And in September 2024 we welcomed twins - Natalie and Madeline! The girls and their fur brother, Rudy (a fluffy and gentle Wheaten Terrier), keep us on our toes and provide us with endless laughs and entertainment.

These days our family finds great joy being members of King of Glory Lutheran Church and serving the community whenever and however we can.

Lending a hand in my community.

As part of Northwestern Mutual, I'm proud to help accelerate the search for better childhood cancer treatments while supporting families undergoing treatment, and survivors from late effects. Here are some of the organizations we partner with:

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)

ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.

When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.

Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.

It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
